Thanks to Isaac Newton Primary school in Grantham for sending me photographs and information about how they built their own greenhouse from plastic bottles.

Don't forget I'd really love to receive information about your school gardening project

What a cool concept! How did they collect all those bottles?

Here is a link to a recent blog post about a gardening project we did at our school. If you go to my sidebar and click on School Garden, you can see previous posts about it.

Hi JGH
You have a great school garden. I've had a browse through some of your posts I think children in our country would be amazed to see pineapples growing and would love ducks in their grounds.

If you ever fancy popping some info together about your school garden then I'd be happy to include it on my website.

Plastic bottle greenhouses are great, mines been up for a year and a half, see how its doing on squidoo http://www.squidoo.com/plasticbottlegreenhouse.
I hope if anyone else is inspired to make one they check out the cheaper and easier wire method rather than the expensive bamboo cane method they've used in the example you give.
